Northumberland: Did you catch the last episode of Vera? It was a big deal! Over six million people tuned in to watch it. The show has been a favorite since it started in 2011.
Brenda Blethyn, the star, decided to step back after 14 years. It’s bittersweet news since the show will wrap up in 2025. But don’t worry, there are still two new episodes coming!
They filmed the final series all over the North East last summer. One of the last spots was a little village called Glanton, which got a name change for the show.
While the outside of The Queen’s Head pub was featured, the inside scenes were shot at The Pack Horse Inn in Ellingham. It’s funny how they mixed locations!
