Two kittens were found abandoned in a Darlington bin, prompting the RSPCA to seek help from the public to find their owner.
Darlington: So, here’s the scoop. Two little kittens were found in a wheelie bin. Can you believe it? A kind person heard them meowing and went to check it out.
They found a female tabby and a black male with white markings. Poor things were huddled in a cat carrier. They looked pretty rough, too. The finder took them to a vet nearby.
The RSPCA stepped in and got them all sorted. They’ve been microchipped, vaccinated, and treated for fleas and worms. Now, they’re named Brooke and Sydney and are staying at a boarding facility.
Ruth Thomas-Coxon from the RSPCA said it was lucky someone heard their cries. She mentioned how distressing it must have been for the kittens. It’s shocking that someone would abandon them like that.
Brooke and Sydney are friendly little furballs. They’ll make great pets for someone who can give them a loving home. The RSPCA is asking anyone who knows about the kittens to reach out.
If you have any info, you can call their appeal line. They really want to find out who left these kittens behind. Let’s hope they find a loving home soon!
