Ofsted commended Sunderland’s St John Bosco School for its strong leadership amid the RAAC crisis, ensuring students continued learning safely.
Even with the building shut, the staff made sure every child got face-to-face education. They worked hard to keep the learning going, and Ofsted noticed their efforts in a recent report.
Emily Stevens, the lead inspector, visited during the autumn term. She mentioned the significant disruption caused by the unsafe building. But thanks to the staff’s steadfast leadership, students kept learning.
