This role is pretty interesting and comes with a salary between £26,228 and £34,000, depending on your experience. The mill, located on the Ford & Etal Estate, has been around since medieval times and was restored in the 1970s.
It’s not just a working flour mill; it’s also a seasonal attraction for visitors. While having experience as a miller is a plus, it’s not a deal-breaker. They’re willing to train the right person.
If you’ve got some supervisory experience, that’s great! Understanding machinery and production processes is a big help too. You’ll also need to be comfortable interacting with people of all ages.
The ideal candidate should be a problem-solver and have good customer service skills. Sales experience would be a bonus, along with the ability to juggle tasks under pressure.
Strong communication and organizational skills are key, and they’re looking for someone who can work well with others. The person who gets this job will be part of a beautiful heritage environment and help keep traditional milling alive.
