Reform UK leader Nigel Farage will speak at a party conference in Houghton-le-Spring today, exclusively for party members, lasting two hours.
The event starts this afternoon and will last for two hours. The party’s website invites members to join him at Sunderland Live.
Just yesterday, Farage spoke at a rally in North West Essex. He was the last speaker there, and the event was live-streamed.
During the rally, the party’s membership count increased significantly. They started with 190,152 members and ended with 190,551.
Farage mentioned that 232 people signed up during his speech alone. This follows a dispute with Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch about membership numbers.
He explained that the membership tracker began after a push over Christmas. Farage noted that they are now the second largest party in the country.
