An 11 year-old girl was found dead in woodlands near Paris a day after her sister’s plea for help.
Louise Lasalle, age 11, disappeared from near Paris. Her body was found in some woods. This happened less than a day after her sister asked for help. Louise was last seen Friday at 1:50 PM leaving school. Her parents called police when she didn’t return.
Her school, André-Maurois, is near Paris. It’s in Épinay-sur-Orge, about ten miles away. Her sister, Mariane, also posted online. She shared Louise’s route and details.
Mariane said Louise disappeared around 2 PM. She mentioned André Maurois college nearby. Louise walked on the Bas Follet trail. She carried a purple backpack with a butterfly. Her coat was navy blue, and she had a bandage.
Security cameras showed Louise leaving school. She walked toward some parkland on Friday. Police later found her body there in the early morning. Local news said they used dogs and drones to search. A helicopter helped too.
Two people were arrested, according to reports. Police have started a murder investigation. The people arrested are a man and his partner. He is 23, and she is 20 years old.
