Katya Jones Falls for Newcastle’s Stunning Views During Strictly Tour

Newcastle: Katya Jones was totally amazed by the view from her hotel room. She and the Strictly Come Dancing crew arrived in the city for their live tour.

Katya, a long-time pro on the show, was back in action this autumn. She won the Glitterball trophy in 2017 with Joe McFadden. This time, she was paired with Wynne Evans, an opera singer and radio host.

They started as underdogs but surprised everyone with their performances. They quickly became known as potential ‘dark horses’ for the final.

After a dance-off win against Shayne Ward and Nancy Xu, their journey ended. But now, they’re back on the Strictly live tour. The tour kicked off in Birmingham and then moved to Sheffield before reaching Newcastle.

As she got ready for her first show at the Utilita Arena, Katya snapped a stunning photo of the Tyne Bridge and Quayside. She shared it on Instagram, asking her followers to name the bridge.

Shayne, another Strictly star, also shared his love for Newcastle. He filmed himself on the Swing Bridge, enjoying the lively crowds.

After the opening night, Katya and the team will perform two shows on Thursday.
