Gateshead: A shocking incident unfolded when Ian Black allegedly killed his fiancée’s stepdad, Christopher Henderson. It all started with a claim of infidelity made in a hospital.

The court heard that Black was furious after Henderson told his stepdaughter about an alleged sexual encounter Black had while in the hospital. This revelation led to a brutal attack.

Witnesses described the attack as a “white hot rage.” Black reportedly kicked, punched, and stamped on Henderson multiple times. The CCTV footage shown in court was graphic and disturbing.

Black has pleaded guilty to manslaughter but denies murder. The prosecution argues he intended to kill Henderson. They say he was seeking revenge for the infidelity claim.

The incident happened on July 16 last year, and Henderson died from his injuries two weeks later. The court was told that Black and his fiancée had been together for about seven months.

Miss Brown, the stepdaughter, was very close to her stepdad. She visited him almost daily. On that fateful day, she confronted Black about the infidelity claim, which led to the violent confrontation.

After the attack, Black walked away but later returned to the scene. He even told Miss Brown to check on Henderson, claiming he might not be breathing.

Despite efforts to save him, Henderson succumbed to his injuries. The court is still hearing evidence, and the trial continues.
