Four men face charges after a brawl between Celtic and Rangers fans before the League Cup final.
Remember that crazy scene in Glasgow? It was December 15 before the League Cup final. Rangers and Celtic fans caused chaos. They used flares and other stuff. Cops got hit, it was wild. Shoppers got scared.
Two rival groups of fans battled. This happened right before Christmas. The game was at Hampden. Rangers played Celtic for the cup.
Police caught the guys. They are 23, 26, 27, and 28. Officers got warrants to arrest them. They searched homes across Glasgow and in South Lanarkshire.
They will be held in jail. They have court on Monday, February 10 at Glasgow Sheriff Court. Reports are going to the Procurator Fiscal.
Police Scotland spoke about it. They said it’s still going on and that they’re finding others involved. Call 101 or go to the police station if you know something. Help them find the other people involved.
