Heaton: Hollywood has officially landed in Heaton with the opening of Eatflix cinema. This place promises a 5D movie experience all year round.

Eatflix has become a hit in Newcastle over the past year. Events at Alfie’s were always packed, leading to more dates being added. Now, brothers Joe and Ollie Brack have taken their idea to the next level.

Eatflix is no longer just an event at Alfie’s. It’s now a full-time cinema at 269 Chillingham Road, a spot once known for dancing. The Brack brothers announced their plans last year, and this week, the doors opened to a great response.

The cinema features a massive screen and top-notch sound. The decor is classic Hollywood, with red and gold accents, chandeliers, and tons of movie posters. Fans of films like ET, Grease, and The Mask will love it.

Guests can enjoy comfy seating and choose from a film-themed cocktail menu. Drinks like Butterbeer and Midnight Margaritas are popular, along with Pulp Fiction-inspired Espresso Martinis and Cosmopolitans from Sex and the City.

At Eatflix, you don’t just watch a movie; you experience it. The menu is designed to match what’s happening on screen. Forget popcorn; this is an a la carte movie night.

Before the official opening next week, Eatflix invited guests for a sneak peek. Disney Pixar’s Ratatouille is the first film on the schedule.
