A hotel in County Durham is investing over £6 million. They aim to create a top golf facility in the UK.

Ramside Hall already has two golf courses that attract many players. The hotel is building a golf academy now, which includes entertainment and leisure areas. A new driving range will have 43 bays.

They are adding a six-lane bowling alley indoors. A sports bar will have fun electronic games, including darts and shuffleboard, as well as pool tables and big screens. These screens will show major sports.

The new academy wants more golf pros and will have coaching and short game areas. There will be a new store, and a function room fits 120 people. The opening happens between March and August.

John Adamson, the hotel owner, thinks it will help Durham. The new additions offer something for everyone, including people who are not golfers.

The bowling alley and bar will be fun, offering entertainment without golf. The academy helps people learn golf and helps golfers improve their skills using modern equipment.

Ramside has added other things recently, including a new spa. They also opened treehouses for guests.
