Chester Le Street: Andrea Graham’s story is truly inspiring. After her breast cancer diagnosis, she faced a tough road. Surgery and chemotherapy were just the beginning. She struggled with her self-image and gained weight during treatment.

Feeling down, she decided to make a change. She joined Slimming World in 2011 and quickly started feeling better. Exercise became part of her routine. Zumba classes and swimming helped her regain strength. She even joined a running group, something she never thought she’d do!

But life had its ups and downs. Andrea lost weight but then became complacent. Old habits crept back, and she regained the weight. This affected her mental health and confidence. She knew she had to make a change again.

With a friend’s support, she returned to Slimming World in February 2023. This time, she found her motivation and is now launching her own group. Andrea calls it her journey of self-discovery.

She’s excited about the future and the friends she’s made along the way. Her new group starts on January 29 at Cornerstones Methodist Church. Everyone is welcome to join her on this amazing journey!
