Cork: If you’re shopping this weekend, be aware that supermarkets have different hours. Some stores will stick to their usual Sunday hours for Bank Holiday Monday. Others will open late or close early.

This year, we celebrate the second St Brigid’s Bank Holiday, giving us a nice long weekend after January. To help you plan, here are the opening hours for major supermarkets in Cork.

**Tesco**: Tesco will have normal hours on Friday and Saturday, from 8 am to 10 pm. On Bank Holiday Monday, they’ll open from 10 am to 8 pm. Check the store locator for any changes.

**Lidl**: Lidl will also keep regular hours over the weekend, opening from 8 am to 10 pm on Friday and Saturday, and 9 am to 9 pm on Sunday. Monday hours should be the same, but confirm with the store locator.

**Aldi**: Aldi will be open as usual on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, from 9 am to 10 pm on Friday, and 9 am to 9 pm on Saturday and Sunday. Some stores may vary on Monday, so check the store finder.

**Dunnes Stores**: Dunnes will operate normal hours on Friday and Saturday. Most stores will have Sunday hours on Bank Holiday Monday, from 9 am to 8 pm. The Dunnes on Bandon Road will be open from 9 am to 9 pm. Store hours may vary, so check the locator.

**Supervalu**: Supervalu hours differ by location. Use the SuperValu store locator to find local opening times.
